Instapage, Unbounce or LeadPages – Which Is The Best Landing Page Builder?

by Author - Saturday, July 23, 2022 185 Views

Do you remember the days when you had to collaborate with a developer every time you wanted to test out a new landing page? We can thank landing page builder tools like Instapage, Unbounce, and Leadpages for the fact that this problem no longer exists.

You can now easily design, launch, and optimize as many landing pages as you want by using a simple visual drag-and-drop interface. This makes it possible for you to create more landing pages than ever before. Because of this, you will have more time to devote to the tasks that truly matter, such as converting site visitors into paying customers or newsletter subscribers.

In spite of this, Instapage, Unbounce, and Leadpages are not interchangeable when it comes to the types of pages they create. It is true that they are all high-quality tools, and it is also true that they are all drag-and-drop landing page builders; but, there are some key feature distinctions between them that could make one tool more suitable for your requirements than the others.

In this piece, I’m going to go hands-on with these three fairly good landing page builders in an effort to assist you to uncover those significant differences that I mentioned before and share with you Unbounce Coupon codes.

I’ll walk you through the UI of the landing page builder, show you what kinds of templates and integrations are available, and highlight the features that set each of these tools apart from the others.

Instapage vs Unbounce vs Leadpages

Let’s begin this comparison with a high-level look at how these three tools compare to one another, as each tool has a slightly different pricing structure, as well as a different focus. We’ll get more in-depth soon, but for now, let’s begin this comparison with a high-level look at how these three tools compare to one another.

When it was launched, Instapage was “simply” a landing page builder; however, the company now refers to itself as a “post-click automation platform.”

Now, I am aware that this may sound like a lot of jargon, but it does underline the fact that Instapage is more focused on building dynamic and tailored landing pages that fit your adverts rather than just providing one-off static experiences for all visitors.

The functionality of Instapage is one of the most appealing aspects of the product, but it is also the most expensive tool on this list.

In the beginning, Leadpages was likewise a landing page builder; but, it has since evolved into more of an all-purpose tool for generating leads, with the addition of popups, notification bars, and even whole websites (such as Squarespace).

Leadpages is also, by a significant margin, the most reasonably priced of any of these tools.

Unbounce has increased its emphasis on landing pages to the point where it now refers to itself as “the landing page platform.” Unbounce, on the other hand, allows you to generate notification bars and popups, just like Leadpages does.

When it comes to pricing, Unbounce falls somewhere in the middle of Instapage and Leadpages.

Comparing the Templates

Building a landing page from the ground up requires a lot of work. If you want to be able to roll out new landing pages more quickly, you’ll need a tool that comes with a good collection of templates to choose from.

There are a variety of templates available for you to choose from, and each of the three tools provides this option. Bloggervoice also shares some of the best tools and templates which can take your business and landing page to the next level.

You have approximately 90-page templates to select from while using Instapage. The UI of Instapage does not display more than 200 templates, despite the company’s claim that it offers more than that amount; therefore, I am unsure of where the company got that number.

The templates are squeaky clean, sporting a contemporary aesthetic, and offering a generous amount of white space. One of the things that I enjoy is that they provide certain templates that are similar to wireframes. These are great if all you need is a simple place to begin:

Although it has been said that beauty is in the eye of the beholder, I believe that, in general, the templates that come with Unbounce appear a little bit more “finished” than the ones that come with Instapage.

You also get templates of the “wireframe” type, similar to what you get with Instapage, which you can use as a starting point for your website:

You have access to more than 130 different landing page designs and templates for complete websites when you sign up for a Leadpages account.

The templates, on the whole, have a very nice appearance. In addition, Leadpages possesses a one-of-a-kind feature that enables users to arrange the templates in the order of their conversion rate.

It’s a bit of a gimmick because the precise conversion rate will be determined by the content that you add, but I still think there’s some value in this choice because it provides you with some real-world foundation for which templates to choose.

Comparing the Drag-and-Drop Editor

Your next destination should be the landing page builder itself, regardless of whether you’re starting from scratch or utilizing one of the templates to construct your page.

There is a visual, drag-and-drop builder available in all three of these tools; nevertheless, there are significant variances between the three of them.

Instapage and Unbounce have, in my opinion, the most powerful editors when it comes to the overall degree of control and flexibility they offer over mobile design. Visual drag-and-drop design is still available using Leadpages; however, the customization options are somewhat restricted.

You have access to a vast assortment of widgets for the purpose of adding content, such as buttons, forms, countdown timers, and many others.

In addition to that, you have the option of designing distinct layouts for desktop computers and mobile devices.

Your desktop design will be made responsive by Instapage automatically; however, you will need to activate the mobile mode in order to completely personalize how the responsive mobile version of the page functions.

The drag-and-drop editor that comes included with Unbounce is on par with the one that comes included with Instapage and offers you the same degree of creative versatility.

You can also read the Publisher rocket review.

Again, this indicates that you are not restricted to a pre-made row/column grid like you would be with a page builder; rather, you are free to simply drag objects to the locations of your choosing.

Overall, I’d say that the editor that comes with Unbounce is somewhat more geared toward developers since it has a greater number of advanced choices, whereas the editor that comes with Instapage is somewhat more geared toward designers because it places a more emphasis on the visual design. However, both of them are wonderful!
